Our appointment service offers a truly unique experience for those seeking ladies hats for a special occasion. While we do stock pre-made designs, our enhanced appointments allow you to create something truly bespoke to perfectly reflect your individuality and personality.
Working with Yolande, we can conceive and create the perfect finishing touch to your chosen outfit so that every detail is just right.

How the service works:
When you attend your appointment, please bring along the complete outfit that you plan to wear (if you have them, don’t worry if you don’t) and we will work with you to design a spectacular hat or fascinator for your special occasion.
We can also help you to choose or customise a beautiful piece from our existing range, if you’d prefer.
For our full selection, a minimum of a six-week lead time before your event is required.
We will always try to accommodate your needs and if you require the item sooner, please contact us and we will do our best to meet your timescale.
Please note that working from a provided swatch or photograph may not be sufficient to find a perfect match, so please do bring as much of your planned outfit as you are able.
As well as our enhanced appointment experience, we offer a range of additional services:
- We will adjust any sizing or fitting of a hat in our stock to suit an individual and can also make adjustments, such as adding secondary colour feathers, on a very short lead time, sometimes even on the same day (although we do advise visiting as early as possibly to avoid disappointment).
- We fix, repair or make adjustments to any hat, regardless of where it was originally purchased.
- We make flowers for corsages or any other use from any desired fabrics. We can also match these to your chosen headwear.
- We also stock everyday hats, a collection of bags in many different colours, a range of jewellery and wraps / pashminas, as well as winter everyday scarves and gloves during the winter season.

Clothing & Hat Alterations and Repairs
Do you have a garment that requires repair or need altering?
Our repairs & Alterations department give this professional service to look after your clothes.
From hemming your trousers or extending the waist to letting out or taking in your jacket or dress.
We will provide a quick turn-around time for most items although more complex jobs may take longer. We will be able to advise you when you bring your items in.
Do you have a hat that you have had for years, and love, but is looking a little worse for wear?
We can use our technical millinery construction know how and design experience to offer an alteration service, which includes re-shaping, stretching and/or tidying up trimmings.
As well as hat repairs we can also carry out hat alterations. Adding extra colours, feathers, a bit of sparkle or a full re-trim. We can make both big and small alterations to existing hats so you can re-use an old favourite.
This also includes the hats in our shop, if you have seen one in store that you like, but it needs a little more to make it the perfect fit for your outfit, just let one of us know and we will see what can be done.
Please note we cannot take responsibility for your own hats and all are left at your own risk, major risks and expectations will be pointed out before work begins.

Do I need an appointment?
We strongly recommend that you book a consultation. Choosing a hat or fascinator takes time, so appointments allow us to provide you with the time you deserve . By booking an appointment you are also guaranteed the use of our Studio Space.
Do I need to bring my outfit?
Yes if at all possible. It is easier to have as much of your outfit as possible with you, (including shoes and accessories) to achieve the premium colour match and proportion to suit you. This is particularly important if you are having a bespoke hat created especially for you.
N.B. Photographs and small swatches are often not good enough guides and can often lead to second guessing or a second visit.
What is the lead time for a bespoke hat?
Ideally we need 6 – 8 weeks to create a bespoke piece. However if time is short we can come to some arrangement or we do have over Lots of hats and fascinators in stock ready to take away.
How much does a hat cost?
There is a hat to suit all budgets. A fascinator starts from just £20.
Do you hire hats?
Yes we hire hats. The majority of pieces are available to hire. With prices starting from just £20. We also offer adjustments to the hire piece, for example adding additional coloured feathers to compliment your outfit (additional costs start at £10). Book in good time for key occassions such as RoyalAscot. Remember many of our designs are unique creations and there may be only one of each.
Can you repair hats?
Yes we can! Bring your tired or damaged hat to us and we will give it a new lease of life or even a re-trim. Lead times may vary depending on work and materials required
Do you stock bridal accessories?
In the boutique we stock beautiful bridal accessories; flowers, birdcage veils and tiaras or we can design and make a piece especially created for you on your special day.
Do you only sell hats?
Our boutique although predominantly millinery, stocks a wealth of fashion accessories including:
- Wraps and pashminas
- Casual hats: sunhats, rain hats, winter hats.
- Hair accessories
Do you offer any other services?
